Background: Propionibacterium acnes is a commensal bacteria that play role in developing acne vulgaris on the skin. Antibacterial activity assay last decades have shown resistant to several antibiotics. Potential zingiber genera such as Z. officinale, montanum, and zerumbet potential antibacterial. Objective: This study aims compare antibacterial of montanum against acnes, active fraction, components fraction plant.
